Drum Translator – Logic Pro Note Remapper Utility

This is a preset for Logic Pro's MIDI Scripter plugin. It allows you to take individual incoming MIDI notes and remap them to different pitch. The purpose of this is to allow a single MIDI pattern to work across different drum plugins or sample sets where kit pieces are assigned to different notes.

You can select notes from the drop-down menus or enter a 'Learn' mode where the menu listens to the next note you play in order to determine which one to remap. You can also decide to mute certain incoming notes, which might be useful when going from a complex drum plugin with many sounds to a simpler one.
